Interested in becoming an Atienza Kali Instructor?
So you are part of an official Atienza Kali training group or consistently attending one of the public classes
and decided that you want to become an instructor in Atienza Kali...here is how it goes.
First lets look into what the advantages are of being accepted into the Atienza Kali Instructor Program (AKIP):
You get to train privately under one of the Chief instructors of Atienza Kali. Through this program you will learn
to dissect the Evolutions and strategies to a level of understanding you may never get anywhere else.
If you look at the standard AKTG and public class curriculum information is the same as the information in the AKIP
but the dissection and analysis of the information is different. As the understanding of the system increases, so will
your combat abilities with a blade.
We have a saying in Atienza Kali "exceptional teachers must be exceptional fighters first".
(That is what is entailed in the Atienza Kali instructor program).
There is intensive combat analysis of the Evolutions, Atienza Kali Blade exchange & Mass Attack Scenarios.
This can be applied either in one on one blade exchanges or in mass attack scenarios. Then the student is taught
to transfer that same information to others.
Later down the line the Instructor will be able to take on students and start to teach the official curriculum which
will further enhance his understanding and skill in Atienza Kali. This is the highest available training in Atienza Kali
available to the general public...but you must be selected for this program.
Process to acceptance into the Atienza Kali Instructor Program:
1 - All candidates must be members of the Atienza Kali Training Association (AKTA) and currently attend a public class or part of an official AKTG.
2- The student must be recommended by the instructor of the public class or AKTG for the instructor program.
3 - Atienza Kali Chief Instructors must accept the candidate to the Atienza Kali Instructor program
4 - Once accepted, the candidate must train PRIVATELY with an Atienza Kali Chief Instructor in the Atienza Kali Instructor Program.
More info is available on the member site about the Atienza Kali Instructors program (AKIP).
